Wine Country Training is BACK and Better Than Ever! Santa Barbara Running is again collaborating with Alaris Fitness for an 8 week training program for the Wine Country Half Marathon and Half Marathon Relay.
Whether this is your first or fifth time running the Wine Country Half, this training program is designed to help make you faster while reducing risk of injury and having a ton of FUN. Beginners are welcome!
Program starts Tuesday, March 19th and will end on race day with a post-race event in Los Olivos.
The weekly training schedule will be:
Tuesday 6am: Coached Track Workout (SBCC)
Thursday 6am: Coached Tempo, Hill Repeats, or other workout
Saturday 7am: Long Run from Santa Barbara Running
You will have great coaches, resources, and training tips available to you throughout the training program to help you succeed regardless of what your goals are.
